Joyride AI is a small team based in Dublin, Ireland, building tools that make everyday journeys more enjoyable. We started with a simple question: why does every navigation app send us down the same busy road, when a park, a beautiful street or a great bakery is only a few minutes away?

What we do

Our route planner works with Google Maps to suggest walking, cycling and driving routes that include well-rated stops matching your mood: green spaces, sights or food. We also publish practical guides about urban exploration, healthier commutes, family walks, road trips and finding good food on the go.

About the "AI"

The planner and the guide recommendations are automated and personalised for you; our authors write and walk everything, and AI is used only to proofread. Details are in how we use AI.

Who writes our guides

Our travel guides are written by and (family guides) and (walks with dogs, landscapes and photography). Alberto was born and raised in Mexico and has lived in Ireland for 13 years; May, also from Mexico, writes our family guides from days out with her child in Ireland; Victor, born in Mexico too and living in Ireland, has travelled through six countries and writes about the long walks he takes with his three dogs, Renzo, Dona and Pachin. Write for us

We're looking for writers and walkers. If you love to walk, cycle or explore and want to contribute to Joyride AI, tell us about the places you know well: everyday routes, family days out, dog walks or photo spots.
